…since I can remember
from early camping trips with my family, excursions to the Baltic seaside with my friends,
all inclusive package holidays with my first boyfriends
if European countries are concerned I have the greatest sentiment for the islands of Greece,
I was in Egypt and Morocco, visited Caribbean Guadeloupe and Venezuela with Margarita and Coche islands
a few years ago I organized my own trip to Thailand
and since then my love for South East Asia brings me back in this region again and again
I have visited Indonesian islands of Sumatra, Java, Lembongan and Gili Trawangan,
finally deciding to quit my job in Poland, leave my flat with beloved cat in good hands
and to travel across Asia for longer
I have spent most of my time on the islands of Philippines – Siquijor, Bohol, Malapascua, Sibuyan, Camotes, Boracay and Palawan,
I lived for a month in Bali, almost as much time on the Malaysian island of Perhentian and in Bangkok
I have gained new experience in Cambodia on the islands of Koh Rong and Koh Rong Samloem,
on the latter working as a resort manager and successfully promoting an innovative water sport Subwing
I came back to Poland for a longer while only to set off again,
this time to live in a small village in the countryside of southern Vietnam,
travel around Myanmar, recharge my batteries in northern Thailand and then head to Laos
I had the pleasure of publishing some of my travel articles in various magazines
I tend to travel slowly,
taking planes only when necessary or economically more convenient,
choosing local buses or boats if possible, I often rent a bike at my destination
as my travels continue I plan my trips in a way to spend less time on tourist trails
and experience more of the local life,
maybe with less sights to see,
but with more hospitality and curiosity of another man
